Day 1: Arrival in Montenegro
Your journey begins in the capital, Podgorica, where you’ll be greeted at the airport and transferred to your accommodation in Kolašin. Get acquainted with your fellow adventurers and enjoy a welcome dinner as you prepare for the thrilling days ahead.
Day 2: Kolašin – Bjelasica mountain & Biogradska Gora
An ultimate experience of in the hearth Bjelasica mountain, traversing the mountain pastures & scenic trails. After van ride to Biogradska Gora, one of the last rainforests of Europe, we ride around the lake and climb old growth forest towards the mountains.
Once at the plateau, delicious stop at shepherds hut await, before winding our way over deep into the high mountain roads. Comfortable yet rewarding ride combining both forests and wide valleys, with some sweet single trail options for experienced riders;.
Reaching eco-village Vranjak by the ski-centre Bjelasica, we are making our way down to Kolasin flying down the doubletrack & sleepy villages…
Day 3: Kolašin – Sinjavina & Moracke mountains
We start the biking adventure from deep Alp-style Lipovo valley, surrounded by high peaks, climbing to remore Sinjavina plateau, which hides a harsh, but charming landscape, and some traditional shepperd villages which are rare to still see in Europe. Feel the warmth of people and ther hospitabilty along the way. Be blown away by diverstity of landscapes, unforgettable viewpoints, dramatic views as well as we reach Moracke mountains.
Set in the hearth of Montenegro, yet hidden from tourist and masses, this hidden gem is a biking paradise, reaching some of our most favourite viewpoints. We finish by descending to Dragovica Polje, having a beer at funky bar below the peaks of Moracke mounts.
Day 4: Durmitor National Park
Durmitor is considered as one of the most beautiful mountain ranges in Balkans peninsula and Montenegrin alps, with 40 peaks above 2.000m, 18 glacier lakes, 3 river canyons. An outdoor Capitol of the country, offering endless playground amidst old conifer forests, rugged peaks & green valleys.
This is among the best mountain biking rides in the country, boasting adventurous single trails & village roads, winding deep forest and revealing the surreal views. From Black, Zminje, Jablan to Devil’s lake, this tour will mesmerize you with silence and the greenery of wild nature. All lakes are different but unique, set in a dramatic alpine scenery. Loop biking in/out from hotel in charming ski town Zabljak.
Day 5: OPTIONAL Activity: Tara Rafting & Zip line
Tara canyon is situated in the hearth National Park and protected as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, being the deepest canyon in Europe. Dramatic walls, turquoise waters, and bordering pine- coated hills make it a magnet for nature lovers and adventure sports enthusiasts.
We embark on rafting adventure on sapphire waters with many rapids and feel your heart racing wild. In untouched wild nature, Tara River’s cascading waters cut a deep path through the mountains. Besides rafting, experience this beauty from the air with a Zip-line ride by the famous bridge Djurdjevica Tara.
Day 6: Lovcen National Park & downill to Kotor
A truly unforgettable biking experience in one of the most amazing corners of Montenegro. Lovcen National Park is a beating hearth of the country for historical significance, but also it’s natural beauties. It rises high above the Adriatic sea, boasting unparallel views of UNESCO listed Boka bay, as well as lush nature & changing landscapes.
Fun trails await in deep beech forests & valley of Ivanova Korita, bellow the famous Mausoleum – Jezerski peak, from where the epic summit-to-sea descent take us through trails & scenic serpentines from 1.500m all the way to Kotor old town, a true jewel of Adriatic sea. Stroll the cobbled streets of venetian style to finish the amazing day
Day 7: Vrmac hill & Boka Bay
Immerse into the beauty of Boka, listed as UNESCO site and one of the world 20 most beautiful bays. Explore if from the coast, as well as from bird perspective, e-biking in Vrmac Nature Park with stunning views over sea and iconic cities Perast, Kotor and Tivat, surrounded by the dramatic mountain ranges from all sides. Route uncovers ridges, conifer & oak forests and hidden sleepy hamlets, contrasting shiny resorts.
Pedal old military road and conquer the Vrmac highest peak overlooking 3 bays of the fjord, before the adventurous descent following some hidden single trails to the sea, with a stop in old stone village. Montenegro is all about changing sceneries & terrain, and this place is not an exception.
We soak the sun and conclude ride by relaxing ride along the charming seafront, by vibrant marina resort Porto Montenegro and finish in hotel.
Day 8: Departure
Transfer to the airport.
